I Regret Supporting Buhari in 2015, says Dino Melaye, claims he has apologised to God

-Dino Melaye has slammed the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari

- The former Kogi senator also declared that he has apologised for supporting Buhari in his first term in 2015

- Meanwhile, he said the PDP is yet to decide on how to produce its next presidential candidate

Former Kogi West senator, Dino Melaye, says he had apologised to God and Nigerians for supporting the candidacy of Muhammadu Buhari in 2015.

According to him, the agenda that brought Buhari into office was the “greatest scam that came out of Africa”, noting that he regretted supporting Buhari.

He disclosed this while speaking on Channels Television’s programme, ‘Politics Today’.

Melaye said the Buhari government had failed Nigerians in all aspects, from security to economy and infrastructure.

“To start with, I apologise to God Almighty who is the supreme controller of the universe and to Nigerians for supporting Buhari. The Buhari agenda is the greatest scam that came out of Africa. The Buhari presidency in 2015 is the greatest scam that came out of Africa.

“Once I was blind, now I can see. How can one remain in a political party or support a president with what is happening today in Nigeria? How? So, I regret very seriously because we were scammed.”

Meanwhile, he said the PDP has made any decision regarding its 2023 presidential ticket.

Recall that Legit.ng reported that Dino Melaye accused the Muhammadu Buhari administration of many abnormalities.

According to the outspoken politician, there is no longer governance in the Nigerian government. Melaye disclosed this on his Twitter handle on Thursday, March 18.

Nigerians in their usual characteristics on social media accused him of being part of those who misgoverned the country.

Legit.ng had reported that Melaye was once again critical of the administration of the state by Governor Yahaya Bello.

In a tweet on Saturday, March 6, Melaye described the state as being financially anemic under Governor Bello.
