Argentine football legend Diego Maradona was listed among the coaches tipped to replace embattled Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho in bookies' gaffe.

Jose Mourinho and his wards have not been finding it rosy this season in the Premier League anf they even recently crashed out in the Europa League championship.

The former Real Madrid and Manchester United gaffer is now under serious pressure at Tottenham and there have been speculation that the club's chiefs are ready to fire him.

And despite the fact that Diego Maradona died last year, the Argentine was mistakenly listed among the coaches for the job at Tottenham according to the report on Daily Star.

Eddie Howe, Julian Nagelsmann, Rafa Benitez, Brendan Rodgers and Max Allegri are among those who have been tipped as potential replacements for Mourinho if he gets the sack as Spurs boss.

But one betting site appeared to have 1986 World Cup legend Maradona as a 100-1 long shot to replace the former Chelsea, Man Utd and Real Madrid boss.

The gaffe was tweeted by a keen-eyed punter who tweeted a screenshot of Maradona's name among the outsiders for the job.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Hugo Lloris stated clearly that his side's exit in the Europa League on Thursday night, March 18, was embarrassing for himself and other teammates.

Despite winning the first leg encounter 2-0 in which Jose Mourinho and his men were tipped to progress to the next round, but they suffered a defeat in the second tie against Dinamo Zagreb.
