Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze was in action at the Estadio de la Ceramica in Spain on Thursday night, March 18, where he provided an assist in Villarreal’s 2-0 home win against Dynamo Kyiv.
Following the victory, the Spanish club go through 4-0 on aggregates after claiming a 2-0 win in the first-leg.
Chukwueze put up a fine show in the encounter setting up Gerard Moreno for his side’s opening goal as early as the 13th minute.
Moreno also got the La Liga side’s second goal on 36 minutes and Chukwueze was later replaced in the 71st minute by Alex Baena.
Also, Nigeria’s Peter Olayinka found the back of the net in as Slavia Prague 2-0 win over Rangers inflicting the Scottish team their first defeat at Ibrox in just over a year as Praque proceed.
Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun and Rangers teammate Kemar Roofe were both sent off in the second half of that encounter.
Also in action for the newly crowned Scottish champions was Joe Aribo.
Slavia Prague advanced into the quarter-finals 3-1 on aggregate after being held to a 1-1 draw at home in the first-leg.
