Arsenal hero Ian Wright has urged Man United to prioritise the signing of Borussia Dortmund pair Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho this summer.

Wright contends signing the two stars would add a fresh spark upfront for a United side that already boasts of a compact midfield with the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba.

The two Bundesliga stars have previously been linked with a move to Old Trafford, with Sancho, in particular, seeing his imminent move to United last summer die down.

It is believed the Red Devils are now keen on Haaland who they missed out on when he was at Salzburg having given up on a chase for Sancho.

However, Wright thinks Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should be looking in the direction of having both players as he continues his rebuilding project at the Manchester club.

"I’d still try and get Sancho as well to go with him [Haaland]," the former EPL star told Premier League Productions.

"I envisage that if you can have a Man United side that had Pogba, Fernandes, Haaland and Sancho… you know what I mean?"

"I don’t think Sancho is something that they should just give up on because he’s creative as well, he goes past people," he added.

Unlike Sancho, Haaland is expected to court interest from a number of big European clubs, thanks to his sensational goalscoring form with Dortmund.

Man City, Liverpool, and Chelsea are all thought to be salivating for the services of the Norwegian who has established himself as one of Europe's hottest prospects.

Real Madrid are the other club believed to be keen on a move for the youngster in a bid to have their squad further bolstered.

The 20-year-old has already scored an impressive 19 goals in the Bundesliga and 10 in the UEFA Champions League.
