Argentina international Angel Di Maria was unable to complete a League match on Sunday, March 14, involving his club Paris Saint-Germain against Nantes in which they lost.

The former Manchester United star was substituted in the 62nd minute after receiving a news that his house had been robbed with members of his family inside.

According to the report on GOAL, Paris Saint-Germain Sporting director Leonardo communicated the incident to coach Mauricio Pochettino who then withdrew Angel Di Maria from the game.

PSG struggled for the remainder of the game, with their concern compounded at the close of proceedings by the disclosure that team-mate Marquinhos' parents had also been victimised by home intruders.

This is not the first time that Angel Di Maria has had property attack as the 33-year-old was forced to leave Manchester United years back because of robbery incident.

Di María began his career with Rosario Central, but came into prominence at Benfica after signing for the club in 2007 when he was 19.

He helped Benfica win a Primeira Liga championship, the club's first in five years, and two Taça da Liga titles.

Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain are currently occupying second position on the French League table with 60 points after 29 games.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Super Eagles forward Moses Simon was on Sunday, March 14, the hero for his French club Nantes after netting the brilliant goal which condemned champions Paris Saint-Germain to 2-1 defeat.

Paris Saint-Germain went into this encounter with the target of winning which would have sent them to the top of the League table, but Nigerian star Moses Simon broke their hearts.

Moses Simon who also scored against Reims was handed his 19th league start of the season against Paris Saint-Germain and was impressive.

The Nigerian footballer delivered a five-star performance in the encounter to help the Canaries return to winning ways after a three-game winless run.
