Amad Diallo scored Man United's goal in their 1-1 draw with AC Milan in the Europa League draw after coming on for Anthony Martial.

The 18-year-old became the first non-British star to score for the Red Devils' in a European competition.

And it was Diallo's first attempt on goal after making his debut for his new which turned out to be a goal in the 50th minute.

Though Simon Kjaer earned Milan a late equalizer. but the Ivorian youngster has written his name in the history books of the Premier League giants.

After the game United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said:

"Yeah it's creative. He plays with freedom. Great pass by Bruno that makes the goal. Amad, nice goal, still got loads to learn. He'll be better after that."

Red Devils' skipper Harry Maguire added:

"Young boy, big future. Obviously comes on at half-time trying to impress and scores really early.
"That will give him confidence. You can see day in day out in training he's really starting to improve and work on his intensity and tempo of his play. He's going to be a big player for us."

United will take on West Ham United at Old Trafford as they look to close the 14-point gap on league leaders Man City.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Amad Diallo was the man of the moment as stepped up when it mattered most as he helped Man United past AC Milan earn a draw in the first leg of their Europa League last 16 fixture played at Old Trafford.

Diallo needed just five minutes after coming on at the interval for Anthony Martial who limped off with an injury to open his United goal account for the senior team.

The youngster earned a call up to the senior team to fill in the void left by a number of key players who missed the tie through injury.
