He said:

“Being married made it easy to control that aspect. Ladies will definitely make advances at you, but then the fact that you are married and not really giving attention to them makes it easy for you to work on that. So it’s not like I am hiding my marriage, a lot of people know I am married. That is the number one thing that is helping me to manage women."

Speaking on how he has been able to avoid controversy in the entertainment industry, Awobona said:

“It’s not like it’s deliberate, this is who I am, this is the natural me. I don’t like trouble. I am a focused person. I concentrate on what I am doing and I really don’t get distracted because I have a lot on my table already. I am busy with my craft. I am busy trying to create a better version of myself. I am busy trying to survive. No room for controversies.”

The mass communications graduate of the Olabisi Onabanjo University said he doesn’t have an interest in politics for now, however, he noted that he would embrace any appointment that comes his way.

“I am an actor it’s going to be a great opportunity to venture into politics, but right now, I don’t think it’s something I want to venture into. We will be using our voices, our platforms, and the craft to make the changes we can make for now. I will definitely embrace it if an appointment comes, but I won’t take any appointment that will obstruct or affect my craft for now.”
