French club PSG are making efforts to lure embattled Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus to the French capital if the striker is being told to leave the Italian club.

Daily Mail are reporting that the Old Lady hope to take advantage over Nasser Al-Khelaifi's relationship with Portuguese star's agent Jorge Mendes.

Ronaldo’s future is now a topic of concern following Juventus shock exit from the Champions League having lost their second round tie to FC Porto.

A former president at Juventus football club Giovanni Gigli urged the Old Lady to allow striker Cristiano Ronaldo to leave the club at the end of the season.

Ronaldo has continued to receive heavy criticisms over the club’s early exit from this season’s UEFA Champions League.

The Portuguese was blamed for jumping in a ‘wall’ which allowed Sergio Oliviera to grab his second goal for Porto from a 30-yard freekick.

And Gigli also stated that the 36-year-old is always too expensive as he says that the Italian giants should not have signed him in the first place.

Amid rumours that the 36-year-old might be allowed to go, PSG are closely monitoring Ronaldo's situation in Turin ahead of the summer transfer window.

Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano reveals the Old Lady will not stop the attacker from leaving if he chooses to at the end of the season.

Last campaign, it was Lyon that stopped them from reaching the quarterfinals while Ajax became a thorn in their next two seasons ago.

And Romano claims Juve are ready to let Ronaldo go if he doesn’t want to stay past the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Paris Saint Germain sporting director Leonardo has stylishly admitted that the French club might be interested to signing Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.

Former Juve president Giovanni Gigli also believes that keeping the Portugal international beyond this summer will pose a huge financial burden on them due to the crisis caused by COVID-19.

Ronaldo has less than 18 months on his deal with Juve but the Italian club seems ready to part ways with him having already said they will not rush to hand him a new contract.
