Noting that she still goes from one church to another with her group to sing, Mama Fasoyin said she sees herself and the other women as girls.

She said:

"Yes, we are young girls, we are not aged women. In fact, I hate it when anyone calls me old mama, I want to be called sisi mi, sweet sixteen. I am a sisi, not old mama. Go to our Church, they call me sisi. Do I look like an old woman? I believe that it is what I call myself that I will be. I am 81 years only."

The elderly woman noted that she doesn't criticise the way the present generation is going about gospel music. According to her, the way God calls people varies.

In other news, Legit.ng earlier reported that Davido replied to a US-based rapper who accused him of copying his slang.

US-based rapper identified as NBA Gee Boy claimed Davido copied his swag and then his slang.

This was after the musician used the slang 'on gaaaaaad' on Twitter.

The rapper in a video stated that he would pull up on Davido, goliath style so that they would settle the matter.

Davido simply said that he killed Goliath, which is a biblical reference to the fact that the young man can not do anything to him.
