Jurgen Klopp has insisted that he will fulfill the remaining years in his contract with Liverpool and is not interested in replacing Joachim Low, The Sun.

The Reds boss' contract at Anfield is set to expire in the summer of 2024 and they are currently on a run of six home defeats at the Merseyside.

Low announced he will quit the German national team at the end of the Euro 2020 in June after 15 years in charge.

Klopp has been one of the managers tipped by experts to succeed the 2014 World Cup winner but he has stated that has no interest in handling affairs at national level.

He said:

"Am I available for the coach of the German national team in the summer? No.

"Joachim Low did an incredible job. I'm sure the German FA will find a good solution.

"I will not be available as a potential coach for the German team.

"I have three years left at LFC don't I? It's simple. You sign a contract and you stick to that contract. I stuck to contracts at Mainz and Dortmund."

Liverpool have recorded back-to-back losses at Anfield against Brighton, Burnley, Man City, Chelsea, Everton and Fulham.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Joachim Low will step down as Germany’s national team boss after the Euro 2020 to bring an end to his 15-year spell in charge.

The Germany Football Association made the announcement on Tuesday, March 9, 2021.

Lowe, who guided Germany to the World Cup in 2014, will leave his post one year before the end of his contract.
