It should be recalled that last year, Buhari’s message to Obasanjo came on the eve of his 83rd birthday.

One of those who sent goodwill messages was Dapo Abiodun, the governor of Ogun state.

In a brief statement posted on his Instagram page, Governor Abiodun showered praises on the former Nigerian leader, describing him as a "living legend".

He also prayed that the former president continues to age gracefully in excellent health.
