However, Ronaldo has scored just one direct free-kick since his £98 million transfer from Real Madrid to Juventus in 2018.

The five-time Champions League winner has played a total of 65 free-kicks since he joined the Turin-based outfit but has only a 1.5 per cent success rate.

Stats show that his only goal from the set-piece came during the Old Lady's 3-1 triumph over Torino in July 2020.

Although Ronaldo has remarkable goals scoring record for the Italian League giants having scored a whopping 92 goals in 119 appearances across competitions.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that as reports say Cristiano Ronaldo could be seeking a new challenge, Juventus are reportedly weighing up their options if they should extend his massive €31 million yearly contract.

The 36-year-old has continued to score important goals for the club who have been hit financially by the impact of the coronavirus.

It was gathered that Ronaldo is interested in renewing his contract for a further year, but the Old Lady are yet to decide.

It is understood that Juventus are yet to respond to the advances from Ronaldo's side because they are still assessing whether or not they can continue to afford to pay his whopping wages.
