Former Nigerian international Jay Jay Okocha has disclosed that he would do everything to feature in Der Klassiker between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

The former Super Eagles captain made name for himself during his stint with Borussia Neunkirchen from 1990 to 1992 and Eintracht Frankfurt from 1992 to 1996.

Another edition of Klassiker goes down on Saturday March 6 and Okocha who currently works as a Bundesliga ambassador stated that he would pay to play in such a game.

He told Soccer Laduma:

"Well, it’s totally different, you know. Anybody who tells you it’s not different is lying because this is the kind of game somebody like me will pay to play! You know, I will pay to be a part of this kind of game.
"We always prepare for every game, we prepare to win every weekend, it doesn’t matter who you are playing against, but these kinds of big matches always play in your head."

Elsewhere, former Barcelona president Joan Laporta has insisted that he is the only person who can persuade Lionel Messi to extend his reign at the club.

The 33-year-old is out of contract with the Catalans at the end of this season and has been linked with a move away from Camp Nou.

Laporta, who is also contesting to become the club's president again believes the Argentine star will exit their club unless he is elected as Josep Bartomeu's successor.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that just as there are several players who have won the prestigious Champions League title, some other flops too have been chanced to lift the silverware in their time.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the most successful superstar in the history of the competition with five titles while many others have won it four times including Lionel Messi.
