She is breaking the cultural barrier by teaching men how to bathe and care for their babies without having to leave everything to the mothers.

In an interview with BBC News Pidgin, she organised a baby bathing session for men under a canopy, using toys as examples.

Tolu also showed them how to change a kid’s diapers and oil their head like a nursing mother would do.

She said that the aim of organising the dad-antenatal-class is to make men involved in the lives of their kids.

Apart from those, Tolu also showed them what to expect during pregnancy and delivery.

When one of the male participants asked how smart it could be to change the nappy of a baby outside, the teacher replied that though it may be hard, stabilizing the baby on both legs while sitting would help.

Another man said he does not think he can handle the task of bathing a child, saying it is not the father’s job where he comes from.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a black couple with the Twitter handle @SeeAndTPlus3 welcomed their triplets in December 2020 and social media users celebrated them.

About three months after that, the parents dressed up the kids in an amazing photoshoot session as they captioned the photos, saying it is the triplets' first paediatrician appointment.

Placed on a cushioned seat and wearing baby caps and asleep, they struck different poses. Despite the fact they were birthed months ago, tweeps still congratulated the family for having such bundles of joy.
