Ronaldo is best forward of all-time, there won't be another like him, Verona midfielder Veloso says

Cristiano Ronaldo has has been likened to basketball legend Michael Jordan as he is rated the best forward of all-time by fellow Portuguese and Hellas Verona Miguel Veloso.
According to a report on Goal, Veloso believes there would never be another striker like Ronaldo despite the rise of emerging talents like Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.
Speaking before Juventus 1-1 draw against Hellas Verona, Veloso said: “I have no doubt that Cristiano is the best forward of all time, there won't ever be another like him.
“He's like Michael Jordan, a legend. Nobody has the continuity he does.
“[Kylian] Mbappe and [Erling] Haaland are very strong and young, but if reaching the top is very difficult, staying there is even more so.”

Veloso's comment comes after former Italy striker Antonio Cassano slammed Cristiano Ronaldo for his performances since joining Juventus.
According to Cassano, Juventus signed Ronaldo to win the Champions League, but they've done worse with him than they have done before. Cassano described Ronaldo as a failure.
Ronaldo moved to the Turin club in a deal valued to be around £105 million in 2018 to improve their chances of winning the Champions League which they last won in 1996.
However, despite the five-time Ballon d'Or winner scoring 90 goals in 117 games for Juventus so far, they haven't done well on the European front.
They battle FA Porto in the second leg of their UCL clash at the Allianz Stadium next month having lost the reverse fixture 2-1 on February 17.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that 36-year-old Ronaldo helped Juventus secure a 1-1 draw against ninth-place Hellas Verona away from home.
Ronaldo powered Andrea Pirlo's men ahead just after four minutes into the second half but a 77th-minute equaliser from Antonin Barak cancelled out the Portuguese earlier effort.
Both teams eventually settled for a 1-1 draw in a game Juve could have grabbed maximum points and reduce the gap between them and log leaders Inter Milan.
As it stands, the Serie A defending champions have 46 points after 23 matches while Antonio Conte's men boast 53 points from the same number of games.
