A Christian cleric, Bishop Iyobosa Atoe and his wife Reverend Mrs B Atoe have welcomed their first child after 25 years of marriage.

The coupled married in 1996 and had been praying for the fruit of the womb till their prayers were finally answered.

The baby girl, who was dedicated at Jesus Reigneth Chapel Inc on Saturday, February 20, is named Diamond Atoe.

Photos of the baby dedication were shared on social media by the church and Nigerians took to the comment section to congratulate the couple.

The couple's story has shown that patience is a virtue and love conquers all.

In similar news, a Nigerian couple has finally welcomed a set of twins after 27 years of being without a child.

Dr Mike and Dr Modupe Obiora got married on December 11, 1993, and had been praying to conceive ever since.

According to Doctor Modupe, she and her husband held on to God when people thought there was no possibility of conceiving.

She expressed gratitude to God for showing up for her and her husband and proving that there is nothing impossible for Him.

According to the new mum, her mother-in-law and sisters-in-law were always praying for her during the trying times. She said her in-laws strengthened her faith.
