The governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi, has paid a condolence visit to the wife of one of the personnel of the Nigerian Air Force who died in the Abuja military plane crash.

Flight Sergeant Olasunkanmi Olawunmi, an indigene of Ogotun Ekiti in Ekiti state, is one of the seven officers who died in the plane crash on Sunday, February 21.

Governor Fayemi on Tuesday, February 23, met with the wife of the deceased, Mrs Omolola Olawunmi.

The Ekiti state governor shared the photos of himself with the bereaved wife in a tweet posted on his verified Twitter handle just as he prayed for the soul of the deceased.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) disclosed its Beechcraft KingAir B350i aircraft that crashed on Sunday, February 21, was scheduled to take part in a mission to rescue the abducted Kagara students before it crashed.
