Juventus bounced back to winning ways in the Italian League following their 3-0 triumph over Simeon Nwankwo's Crotone on Monday, February 22.

Cristiano Ronaldo's brace and one goal from Weston McKennie were all the Old Lady needed to clinch maximum points at the end of the meeting.

The 36-year-old broke the deadlock in the 38th minute and completed his double in the added minutes of the opening half.

Ronaldo's second goal was another phenomenon after suspending himself in the air for a moment before heading the ball into the back of the net.

The Portugal international has now taken his Serie A tally to 18 goals after his 19th topflight appearances so far this campaign.

Weston McKennie got himself on the scores sheet in the 66th minute with a stunning solo goal to complement Ronaldo's two goals in the opening half.

Meanwhile, Juve, who lost their last two games in all competitions to FC Porto and Napoli have now risen to the third position on the standings.

This has equally boosted their confidence to contend for the league title but they will hope current table-toppers Inter Milan falter in their race to lift the silverware.

Juve have dominated the Italian league for the last nine years and a win for them this season means they would have won the trophy 10 consecutive times, but that appears difficult to achieve at the moment.

Ronaldo will also be hoping he can help his side overturn their 2-1 deficit to Porto when the Portuguese team travels to Turin for the second leg of their Champions League rounds of 16 tie.

Legit.ng earlier reported that the outbreak of deadly coronavirus has restricted Georgina Rodriguez from following her partner Cristiano Ronaldo to match venues since March 2020.

This has however forced the 27-year-old model to stay back at home with the footballer's four children - one of which belongs to her.

With her new stay-at-home routine, Georgina admitted that she and the kids love to spoil themselves whenever CR7 is away for games.
