"Yes, I once thought of it that I could become an actor but I did not know I would be this successful at it. You know I have a goal and a vision of what I wanted to do. God has done beyond my expectations."

Ninalowo also explained he always knew that he wanted to become a successful public figure and acting afforded him the opportunity to achieve the goal.

"I wanted to become a successful person. I wanted to become that successful public figure. So, acting was the platform for me to get myself out there."

On the challenges he has faced so far, the actor said the profession comes with a lot of criticisms and ‘hate’ in society. According to him, many are driven by poverty and not excellence.

"A lot of criticisms. There is a lot of hate in our society. In Nigeria, we are all driven by poverty, not excellence. So, when you are driven by poverty, it is rush hour. So, everyone would just try to look for their moment."

"The fact is that the Yoruba movie industry has much more leverage and a voice than the English movie industry. If you exist in the Yoruba movie industry, you will get more recognition because they have the numbers and the masses at hand. I have done more English movies than the Yoruba. There is a large Yoruba crowd than the English."

The actor also talked about how he has been able to stay professional when he gets advances from female fans.

He said:

"I don’t deal with it. I am a very serious person, bro. You must have control over things of such. Nothing influences anything I do but my decision."
