Ola Aina for the second time this season scored in a Premier League game during Fulham's 1-1 draw with Burnley at Turf Moor.

After a goalless first half, the Nigerian international gave the Cottagers the lead five minutes after the restart.

The 24-year-old was on hand to guide the ball into the back of the net after Robbie Brady was unable to clear his lines from Ademola Lookman's cross.

Ashley Barnes brought the Clarets back on level terms after he was left unmarked with much space as he equalized in the 52nd minute.

Another Super Eagles star Josh Maja could not continue his goalscoring form from their last outing against Everton as he fired blanks.

Scott Parker's side still has a lot to do as the draw could only keep his side six points behind Newcastle.

On the other hand, Burnley moved to 15th spot above Brighton and are eight points ahead of the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Ola Aina was among the scorers when Fulham recorded their first Premier League win of the season.

The newly-promoted side defeated former Championship rivals West Brom by 2-0 at Craven Cottage to ease the pressure on manager Scott Parker.

Ademola Lookman's long-range effort was the closest Fulham got on goal as chances were few and far between.

Legit.ng had also reported that Josh Maja was on target twice as Fulham ended their eight-game winless run when they defeated Everton 2-0 at Goodison Park.

The Nigerian international made his first start for the Cottagers since his January move from Bordeaux and produced a five-star performance.

The 22-year-old settled into the game as he was at the right place and at the right time to tap into an empty net from an Ola Aina's low cross three minutes after the restart.
