Sergio Aguero has been spotted in Manchester City dressing room keeping the jersey of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy in his bag in which the Argentine revealed that his son Benjamin begged for it.

Benjamin who is 11-year-old is the grandson of late Argentine football great Diego Maradona and he is so blessed that his father is a close friend of Barcelona legend Lionel Messi.

But instead of picking one player from Manchester City where his father plays or the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi as his idol, Benjamin is pleased with Jamie Vardy.

To be candid, Jamie Vardy is one of the best strikers in the Premier League considering his superb games for Leicester City in which he even won the golden boot award last season.

According to the video spotted, Sergio Aguero was asked to speak on why he was keeping Jamie Vardy's shirt and he made a big explanation.

"My son asked for it. He texted me asking for Vardy's jersey. He is a phenomenon."

Aguero Jr is also a massive fan of PSG and France star Kylian Mbappe who has been in superb form this season for Paris Saint-Germain.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Pep Guardiola who is the manager of Premier League giants Manchester City confirmed that impressive midfielder Ilkay Gundogan will not be available for their coming game against Everton.

This is not a good development for the Premier League leaders considering how Gundogan has been helpful for the progress of the side this season.

Gundogan who was named the Premier League Player of the Month for January limped out of Saturday’s victory over Tottenham with a slight groin strain.

According to the report, the Spaniard explained that Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne have returned to full training.

Kevin De Bruyne was out for Manchester City for the whole of last month and Guardiola is hoping that his return will be of great advantage for the club.
