Jonathan celebrates as Reno Omokri and wife give birth to baby girl
- Goodluck Jonathan has celebrated with Reno Omokri over the birth of the latter's daughter

Former Nigerian president, Goodluck Jonathan, has celebrated the birth of Reno Omokri's child. The president who was happy at the birth commended the parents for naming her after him.
Going further, Jonathan prayed for the newborn, asking God to bless her as she grows in more wisdom and stature.
The former president disclosed this on his Facebook page on Monday, February 15.

He wrote:
"I congratulate a dear younger brother, Reno Omokri, and his wife, on the birth of their daughter very early this morning.
"I am very grateful that the couple have chosen to name their daughter Ebele, after me, as an honour.
"I thank God for the safe delivery and that mother and child are healthy and thriving.
"May Ebele grow up in wisdom and stature and in favour with God and man. In Christ’s Name."
In another development, Legit.ng reported that Jonathan attended a thanksgiving service as part of events commemorating Douye Diri's one year in office as governor of Bayelsa state.
Jonathan wished the Diri administration all the best as it strives to improve the lives of the Bayelsa people.
The former president used the occasion to advise Nigerian politicians not to see elections as a coup or war.
He said:
“In Nigeria, what we know especially at the national level is change of government through coups during the military era. And at the end of that coup, whether the coup succeeded or not both parties live as enemies. Sometimes they stay as enemies till they die.'
