Amid growing speculations surrounding his planned defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC), ex-minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, on Saturday, February 13, "bumped" into an "old friend" Femi Adesina.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, in a tweet, said he met the media and publicity adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari at Abuja airport.

The meeting, according to FFK, was accidental, with the former aviation minister jokingly saying he was "really in trouble" - referring to conversation drawn to him recently.

Rivers PDP publicity secretary, Sydney Tambari, on Tuesday, February 9, said the former aviation minister is free to defect. Tambari said Fani-Kayode enjoys the freedom of association, hence the reason his defection cannot come as a surprise.
