Photos of another ex-Lagos governor revalidating APC membership emerge

Just like so many Nigerian politicians in Lagos, Akinwunmi Ambode, a former governor of the state, has revalidated his membership in the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Ambode took part in the nationwide exercise on Saturday, February 13, to demonstrate his undying loyalty to the ruling party.

This is one of the first public outings of the former Lagos governor from his Epe residence.

He was seen displaying his membership slip after a successful revalidation exercise.

Meanwhile, A former senator from Kogi state, Dino Melaye, was baffled at APC members trooping across Nigeria to revalidate their membership of the party.

On his Twitter page on Saturday, February 13, the outspoken former federal lawmaker listed the multiple issues that have bedevilled the country under the APC-led federal government.

Melaye mentioned an increase in the prices of rice, petrol, transportation (even by air) as some recent key predicaments citizens have been forced to deal with.

He added that if in the midst of these many persons were still willing to identify with the ruling party, then their problems are huge.

His tweet:

"You are buying bag of rice at N30,000 and fuel at N170 per litre now going to N200 per litre, economy ticket to lagos at N60.
"Yet you are still planning to revalidate your membership of APC. My dear, Your problem is not ordinary.

In a similar manner, Chief Adebisi Akande, the pioneer national chairman of the APC, had described the ongoing registration exercise of the party as unnecessary and aberration.

Akande, who said this on Wednesday, February 3, at his registration centre in Ila Oragun, Osun state, stressed that the present APC membership registration was an indefensible aberration leading to certain ugly perceptions.

Legit.ng gathered he said the major perception is that APC leadership might be wasteful and unappreciative of the proper use of money in a kind of scanty economy in which Nigeria now finds itself.
