Spanish professional footballer Angelino has finally completed his permanent move to German side Leipzig on a permanent basis from Premier League giants Manchester City.

The 24-year-old has for the past two seasons been playing on loan for Leipzig due to lack of active playing time he was unable to get under Pep Guardiola at the Etihad stadium.

According to the report on UK Sun, Angelino cost RB Leipzig a bargain £15.8million fee and his contract at the club will last until 2025.

He has also been impressive so far this season making 29 appearances so far in all competitions for the German giants.

With Leipzig currently occupying second position on the Bundesliga table, Angelino has scored total of eight goals with seven assist.

Angelino was initially sold to PSV Eindhoven in the summer 2018 but then bought back by City for around £5.8 million a year later.

He managed just six league appearances over his two spells with the Citizens before he was loaned out of the Etihad stadium.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was named the Premier League manager of the month for January.

The Spanish born tactician has now won the prestigious eighth time after guiding the Citizens to victories in all nine games they played.

And this is the first time any club would achieve such a feat in the history of English football in a calendar month.

The Etihad Stadium outfit kicked off the first month of the year with a 3-1 win over Chelsea and for the remainder of the same month, they refused to leak any goal.

They defeated Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion 4-0 and 5-0 respectively to maintain their winning status in January.

The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager is now on the same level with the likes of Jurgen Klopp, Martin O'Neill and Harry Redknapp in terms of the award.
