Tessica Brown's life gained instant internet fame after she used a strong brand of glue to lay her edges. While many wouldn't mind, for Tessica, the price to pay for her fame might not have been worth it.

This is because while her edges were pretty laid, the glue refused to go off, no matter what Tessica tried. Soon, the whole world was glued to their screens as they waited eagerly to find out what would happen to "Gorilla glue girl" and her head.

Finally, Tessica went to the hospital and surgically got the glue removed from her hair. In a short clip that was shared online, Tessica could be seen first laying on the surgery bed and then getting up after the procedure and examining the doctor's work.

According to TMZ, the procedure was performed by Dr Obeng, a Ghanaian doctor based in Los Angeles, who offered to perform a $12,500 (N4,765,000) surgery absolutely free of charge. Watch the clip below.

In a previous report by Legit.ng, former presidential aide Reno Omokri took social media to give a piece of advice to ladies who spend on wants instead of their needs.

Omokri said bone straight hair is a want, and the more ladies spend their money on it while they have pending needs, the more they sink into poverty.
