Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha has revealed that he requested to leave the room he shared with Arsenal star Nicolas Pepe whenever they returned home for international duty.
The 28-year-old attacker says his countryman sounds like a 'motorbike' whenever he sleeps and he could not help the sound.
Zaha further added that the unpleasant sound forced him to join former Chelsea attacker Solomon Kalou in his room.
The 35-year-old star who currently plays for Brazilian side Botafogo wasted no time before saying he knows that already. Zaha told SunSport and reported by caughtoffside:
“Oh my days. Nicolas Pepe. I asked to leave the room. I went and asked to leave the room because he sounded like a motorbike.
“It was mad, it was crazy. I was like, ‘No’. These are the first times as well when I went [with Ivory Coast]. They let me move and share rooms with Salomon Kalou. And he was like ‘Bro, I know.'”
Meanwhile, Pepe is not the only one who annoyed Zaha as he also indicts former Manchester United attacker Ravel Morrison who came to clash whilst representing England at youth level.
“He was moving like he was Ronaldinho and the rest of us were just no-one. “He was getting the ball and he was just doing tricks and the only time he passes it if he really needs to.
“We’re just stood there with our hands on our hips while he’s going past six Lithuanian players. And it’s just like ‘what are you doing?’.
“It was that easy – the team that we had, we had such good players and we can all do that, we can all hog the ball and go past all of them but we’re not doing it.
“We’re trying to be professional, play properly but he was just on his own thing. I just had enough, I was like ‘what are you doing?’ and out of the blue he just pushed me."
Legit.ng earlier reported that Liverpool and Scotland defender Andrew Robertson may have taken off football rivalry to Manchester United legend, Sir Alex Ferguson, after moving to his neighbourhood.
The 26-year-old recently splashed a staggering £3.3 million to buy a new mansion not far from the legendary manager.
It is not news that both clubs are bitter rivals, however, both of them can find a common ground based on their nationality and share opinions about the Premier League and other issues in general.
