Only few know that at the moment the country Estonia holds the record as the only country whose leaders are female.

The current president Kersti Kaljulaid was elected into office on Monday, October 10, according to Wikipedia, at the age of 46. She became the second youngest president at 46 (after Zuzana Caputova of Slovak Republic at 45).

The country with a population of 1.3 million got their female Prime Minister Kaja Kallas on Tuesday, January 26 following her nomination by the current president, who is still mum on whether or not she will seek re-election.

In the government of Estonia, the prime minister is usually the head of government and is nominated by the president, following serious consultations with the parliament groups and upon confirmation by the same parliament.

The country with a population of 1.3 million got their female Prime Minister Kaja Kallas on Tuesday, January 26 following her nomination by the current president who is still mum on whether or not she will seek re-election.

Her appointment comes after the collapse of the Juri Ratas led cabinet due to a corruption scandal that rocked and shook the polity.

Other countries, according to Invest in Estonia, that however have something similar to Estonia - howbeit different as they have queens - New Zealand, Denmark, and Barbados.
