England international Luke Shaw who plays for Premier League side Manchester United has explained that he had very hard time under former coach Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

During his time as the coach at Manchester United, Jose Mourinho and Luke Shaw did not have good relationship due to how the Portuguese used to criticize the Englishman.

In 2017 when Everton forced Manchester United to a draw in Premier League game, Jose Mourinho openly complained about the performance of Luke Shaw in the tie.

According to the report on Daily Mail, Luke Shaw was asked by Gary Lineker on how he felt with Jose Mourinho's attack at Manhester United, and the 25-year-old explained that it was hell for him.

''It was a very hard time because sometimes I wasn't able to get my word across or people were only hearing it from one side of the story.
''I knew at the time it was better just to keep quiet. A lot of people were behind me here so I knew I had the backing but I knew I needed to keep quiet and improve.
''I have gone through a lot which has made a better person.''

Luke Shaw has been playing for Manchester United since 2014 and the Englishman has featured in 115 games scoring one goal for the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are currently occupying second position on the Premier League table with 45 points after 23 games played so far.

On Friday, February 5, Manchester United chiefs were happy with Shola Shoretire's performance as he scored three goals against Blackburn Rovers while playing for the Under 23 team.
