Reports in Italy claim PSG are now interested in signing a natural No.9 after missing out on Erling Haaland last year.

On the other hand, City are looking for a long-term replacement for Sergio Aguero who has been linked with a move to Barcelona at the end of the season.

Aguero will be out of contract this summer after ten years at the Etihad and Barca believe signing the Argentine would keep Messi at the Camp Nou.

The 32-year-old is free to discuss with any European club for a free transfer and the former Atletico Madrid forward is looking towards the direction of the Catalan giants

A new contract is yet to be offered to Aguero by City where he became their all-time top scorer and won several titles in his nine years at the Etihad.

The striker has been plagued with illness and injury problems limiting his appearances to just eight this season without a goal.
