Panic as Real Madrid legend undergoes knee injury and will likely miss Champions League rounds of 16 games

- Sergio Ramos could miss up to eight weeks of action after undergoing a knee injury

- The defender might also miss their Champions League doubleheader against Atalanta

- Los Blancos are currently seven points behind city rivals Atletico Madrid on the La Liga log

Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos could be out for about eight weeks after undergoing knee surgery to fix the issues in his left leg.

This means the 34-year-old will miss their Champions League rounds of 16 encounter against high-scoring Atalanta on February 24th and March 16th.

He will also miss a number of Spanish League fixtures which may include their derby against Atletico Madrid at Wandametropolitan Stadium on March 7.

The Spaniard whose deal with Los Blancos expires at the end of this season was missing in their 2-1 win over Huesca with Raphael Varane scoring both goals at the end of the game.

Ramos will be hoping for a quick and easy recovery, as any complications could scupper a summer move as reported by SunSport. Meanwhile, there are also rumours of linking him with a move to French champions PSG.
