Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish has donated a sum of £2,000 as his personal contribution towards the burial of a supporter who lost her life in a motor accident.

It was gathered that the 18-year-old Mia Craen was cruising in her Fiat 500 to her new home in Southwater, West Sussex on Saturday, January 30, when the tragic incident occurred.

Mia who, until her death, was a huge fan of Grealish once mentioned that the Aston Villa captain was her favourite player.

Her friend Rosie Fletcher told other friends and family to tag the 25-year-old midfielder in an Instagram post.

"Given that she was a huge @avfcofficial and @jackgrealish fan, we would like to get recognition for Mia and the amazing person she was." Rosie wrote.

The post then flooded several social media platforms and was eventually spotted by the player who responded with an emotional message as he also donated £2,000 to Mia's Go Fund Me page.

"R.I.P Mia. Sending my deepest condolences to your family and friends." Grealish wrote on his Instagram story. "Please click the link in this bio and donate if possible. So sad."

The Aston Villa captain also sent a personal message of condolence to Mia's brother finnaly, who created the 'Help give Mia the send off she deserves' page online.

Meanwhile, Grealish is still serving his a nine-month driving ban for breaking UK traffic rules on two separate occasions last year.

The England player was first involved in traffic rule breach in March before another one occurred in October.

The 25-year-old has been banned from driving for the next nine months and was also handed a heavy fine to the tune of £82,000 after pleading guilty to two offences.

Grealish appeared at the Magistrates Court in Birmingham on Tuesday morning, December 15, just before the hearing as he had earlier admitted to two counts of careless driving.

It was gathered that on March 29, the player rammed his £90,000 Range Rover into three parked vehicles in Solihull, as shown in footage during the court session.

Also, on October 18, he was caught over speeding on the M42 motorway as he reached up to 98mph on the lane which has a limit of 70mph.

However, Legit.ng earlier reported that Manchester United are desperate in bolstering their squad and after failing to sign Jack Grealish for £65million in the summer, the Red Devils will now be forced to fork out £100million.

Grealish captained Villa to a 2-1 loss away at the Old Trafford, but he could have been playing against his side should United have taken advantage of signing him during the summer.
