- Eden Hazard is set to spend the rest of the next four to six weeks on the sidelines
- The Belgian forward is now suffering his ninth injury setback since he joined the club
- Hazard recently returned to fitness last December and played in Real's five games
- The 30-year-old who joined the Santiago Bernabeu outfit from Chelsea is yet to live up to his billing
Eden Hazard has suffered another injury setback in his spell with Spanish giants Real Madrid and the Belgian is set to miss their Champions League clash with Atalanta, Daily Mail.
The former Chelsea star will miss the next four to six weeks of action due to a thigh injury he suffered in training.
The 30-year-old who returned to full fitness back in December will likely miss the first leg tie against Atalanta towards the end of February.
Los Blancos were hoping Hazard would play a huge part in the rest of their campaign following their bad turn of results on the domestic scene.
Hazard played Madrid's last five league matches but with the recent injury on the Belgian his £106million move from Stamford Bridge is turning out to be a disaster.
He has made just 22 times appearances since November 2019 and has also failed to regularly establish himself in the team.
Hazard has made just 35 appearances for Los Merengues, scoring four goals creating seven assists since his arrival.
The ex-Lille star has also been accused of failing to look after himself after gaining more when he returned for the new season.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Real Madrid superstar Eden Hazard clocked 30 earlier this year and the Belgian attacker has named three gifts he wanted as birthday presents.
The Chelsea legend says he wants qualities from Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and Zinedine Zidane to better his performance.
Los Blancos number 7 wants the Argentine's left foot while he desires Ronaldo's drive to win and the class of Real boss.
The forward has scored twice in eight appearances for the Galacticos so far this campaign but his reign at the Santiago Bernabeu has been badly affected by a series of injuries.
