He now appears to have lost the status as they are already planning to sell him in a bid to take care of the financial burden caused by coronavirus.
The youngster was the scape goat for Real's defeats to Levante and third-tier side Alcoyano in the Copa del Rey having also scored just three times in all competitions this season.
SunSport quoting Madrid paper AS reports that the attacker might be playing his last season at the Santiago Bernabeu despite having a deal which expires in 2025.
Vinicius is definitely facing a difficult time at his present club as his display in October’s Champions League game at Borussia Monchengladbach the subject of a dressing room bust-up.
The Frenchman as reported by SunSport was caught on camera at half-time slamming his compatriot Ferland Mendy – seeming to instruct him not to pass to Vinicius. Benzema, in French to his Mendy, said:
“Don't play with him. On my mother's life, he [Vinicius] is playing against us.”
Meanwhile, Zinedine Zidane doesn't fancy the youngster as much any longer as he occassionally field the Brazilian since the turn of the year, with the starlet’s relationship with his boss souring this season.
Vinicius was reportedly looking through his phone rather than listening to Zidane’s team talk before Real’s last-16 Champions League clash at Manchester City in August.

It has all led to a drastic fall from grace for Vinicius - once dubbed the new Neymar - at the Bernabeu and he may well be looking for pastures new in the summer.

His last straw was when Zinedine Zidane's assistant David Bettoni chose to young Sergio Arribas into the game while the scoreline was still at 1-1 instead of Isco.
