- A young lady has proved naysayers wrong and in the process set a family record

- The lady, Ramatulahi Jalloh has recently emerged an attorney and became the first person in her family to attain such height

- She was turned down from law school severally and even failed two bar exams before her success

A lady has again proved that there is no limitation that can hinder on who is focused on arriving at his/her destination.

The lady was on Friday, January 29, sworn into the Washington DC bar as an attorney.

Ramatulahi Jalloh, a former refugee from Sierra Leone said that the journey and road to being an attorney in the US was a rough one as she encountered many obstacles on the way.

It was her resolve in the face of challenges, discouragement and support system that helped her carry the day.

Taking to Linkedln to announce the good news, she said she had been told she could never rise to become an attorney. Her first set of applications to law school were unsuccessful as she wasn't given consideration.

Jalloh took the LSAT exams and two bar exams which weren't successful as well. She kept echoing to herself that she will make it by God's grace.

Thanks to her strong support system that included a retinue of friends, family members and loved ones who were like fuel to a vehicle, she may have thrown in the towel. She explained:

"Despite these challenges, I never gave up. I was only able to get through this journey by God’s Grace. I am very grateful to God, my family, friends and mentors for their continued support and words of encouragement.
"This experience has taught me patience, perseverance and resilience. I know I’m not the only who has gone through this. But, I share this to motivate others to keep striving and to believe in themselves. You can do anything you set your mind to do."
