- Eberechi Eze scored his third goal of the season for Crystal Palace in the Premier League
- The Eagles returned to winning ways as they earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Wolves
- Palace moved to 13th on the table as snapping a three-match winless streak since the New Year
Eberechi Eze was the star of the show again as his goal proved to be the match-winner in Crystal Palace's 1-0 win over Wolves in the Premier League.
The Eagles have been on a winless streak in the outings against West Ham, Man City and Arsenal but their only victory was over Sheffield United at the start of the New Year.
It took an hour for Palace to break into Wolves defence and it was the Premier League debutant Eze that scored another beautiful goal.
Jordan Ayew set up the 22-year-old who opened up his body to displace Conor Coady and shot past Rui Patricio from outside of the 18-yard box.
Eze has now taken his tally in the English topflight division to three and all of them have been scored at Selhurst Park.
The win has now taken Roy Hodgson's side to 13th position with 26 points on the Premier League table this season.
The next fixture will be away at Newcastle at St, James' Park before taking on Leeds United at Elland Road.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Eberechi Eze scored a contender for goal-of-the-season during Crystal Palace's 2-0 win over Sheffield United at Selhurst Park.
The British-born Nigerian was kept on the bench by Roy Hodgson but came in and produced a moment of brilliance just before half-time.
The Eagles had gone ahead through Jeffery Schlupp in the fourth minute of the match but was substituted for Eze after picking up an injury.
Legit.ng also reported that Henry Onyekuru got off to a flying start in his return to his former club Galatasary during Turkish FA Cup round of 16 game with Gaziantep FK.
The Super Eagles striker completed a loan move from Ligue 1 side Monaco to revive his playing after failing to break into the first team.
The Nigerian international came in for Younes Belhanda at half-time and within nine minutes he got his name on the scoresheet.
