American basketball legend sells his mansion with 17-car garage worth N6.5bn

NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has reportedly sold his 31,000-acre Orlando property where the four-time champion had his own basketball court and 17-car garage.

Shaquille O'Neal actually bought the mansion in 1993 which was a year after joining the City's basketball team.

The gigantic house went on the market last three years for £20.5million due to his commitments as a sports pundit in the neighbouring state.

According to the report on Daily Star, the mansion comes with a basketball court, 12 bedrooms, 17-car garage and many more facilities that the new owner will be proud of.

The basketball court bears the logo of Miami Heat where the 48-year-old won his last NBA championship in 2006 as well as other memorabilia on the walls in an incredible career in the game.

O'Neal who is regarded as one of the greatest basketball players of all time played for six teams over his 19-year career in the National Basketball Association before he retired.

After playing college basketball for the LSU Tigers, O'Neal was drafted by the Orlando Magic with the first overall pick in the 1992 NBA draft.

He quickly became one of the best centers in the league, winning Rookie of the Year in 1992–93 and leading his team to the 1995 NBA Finals.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Kobe Bryant's childhood home in Pennsylvania was sold out 10 months after the tragic death of the famous Basketball legend who died in an helicopter crash.

The house was where Kobe Bryant used to train and work on his skills years back during his active playing time in Basketball.

According to the report, the house has been sold for a fee of $810,000 which is around N307.8 million.

TMZ added that the house is a five-bedroom apartment and Kobe Bryant actually enjoyed living in the mansion during his teenage years.

Kobe Bryant's family are said to be living inside the house until 2008 when they moved out to another big mansion in Los Angeles.
