Popular Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo, aka Sunday Igboho, has narrated his encounter with the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Punch reports that Igboho made the disclosure on Tuesday in an Instagram Live Chat with popular lifestyle journalist, Dele Momodu.

He said he met Tinubu during the build-up to a governorship election in Ondo state involving a former governor of the state, Olusegun Mimiko.

According to him, Rasheed Ladoja, a former governor of Oyo state, told him that Tinubu requested to see him in Lagos.

Igboho said when he met with Tinubu in Lagos, the former Lagos state governor persuaded him not to support the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the election because the party was responsible for Ladoja's impeachment.

He further claimed that Tinubu gave him a sum of N2 million to fuel his vehicle back to his destination.

In a related report, following the growing popularity of Igboho over the eviction notice he served to herders in Igangan, Oyo state, former senator Babafemi Ojudu has given more revelation about the Yoruba activist.

Ojudu, who is the special adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on political matters, on Monday, January 25, narrated how he and Tinubu, held a secret meeting with Igboho.

Ojudu said with his support, Tinubu persuaded Igboho not to interfere with the 2009 rerun election in Ekiti state.

In other news, Igboho has estimated that the value of what was destroyed after some suspected hoodlums set his house ablaze cannot be less than N50 million.

Igboho's old house in Soka area of Ibadan, Oyo state capital, was set ablaze by unidentified men in the early hours of Tuesday, January 26.

Igboho who no longer lives in the house said he was briefed about the attack by his younger brothers occupying the property.
