Man United star Pogba tells teammates to be arrogant

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has urged his teammates to “stay arrogant” if they are to keep their place at the top of the Premier League.

Pogba has been instrumental for United in the last few games as he continues his resurgence under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
His latest strike with his weaker foot helped United maintain momentum at the top of the table against a spirited Fulham side.
The win was quite significant as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side matched a 17-game unbeaten record away from home which dates back to their treble-winning campaign in 1999.
Speaking on the club’s recent form, Pogba, who in recent months was linked with a move away from Old Trafford, was adamant there was still loads of work to do.
"It's been hard to get here, it's going to be even harder to stay there,” he told the Man United website.
He went on to analyse that a “humble” approach in the Premier League was likely to lead to failure in the long run.
"Be arrogant in the way that 'yes, we are proud to be there and we want to stay there', but we have done nothing yet so we need to keep working.
"We are happy with what's happening but we want this to carry on. We want this more and more,” he went on.
United are currently top of the pile, two points ahead of their rivals Manchester City who have a game in hand.
Despite United heavily relying on the exploits of their January 2020 signing Bruno Fernandes, their recent form doubles back to Pogba.
The goal against Fulham was his second wonder strike in three games, with both goals having significant implications in the overall complexion of the games.
"He (Pogba) does everything, we know Paul can do more or less everything that is asked of a midfielder, now he is putting all the elements together in the same performances which is great to see."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has conceded Donny van de Beek is unhappy at the club.
Van de Beek has found game time hard to come by at United since his summer arrival from Ajax in a deal valued at around £40million.
The midfielder has featured in just half of the Red Devils' Premier League matches, making a paltry two starts in those.
