Ahmed Musa who is the captain of the Super Eagles of Nigeria has taken to social media to pen an emotional note to his later mother two years after her death.

The former Leicester City star explained that even though his mother is no more, but added that he thinks about her every day considering how close they were.

Truly, the death of Ahmed Musa's mother came as a huge shock to the football fraternities in Nigeria as there was no news of any sickness before her demise.

Musa while putting a flower on the ground where his mother was buried explained that all the family members are missing her.

''Precious mum, I can't believe it's been 2 years already since we lost you. No day goes by that your thoughts don't cross my mind but I am happy that you are resting in a better place. Though you are gone, you are never forgotten.
''Your children & grandchildren are doing well and also miss you. A caring and loving mum, your memory lives on forever in our hearts. Rest well my sweet angel.''

Meanwhile, Ahmed Musa is currently without a club after leaving Saudi Arabian League and there have been reports of him being linked with return to England.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how as a devoted Muslim, Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa was seen in a photo heading to the mosque for prayers, with the picture background capturing his garage.

Musa, who is currently a free agent having left Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr last year, is believed to have not less than N200million worth cars in his garage.

In his post on Friday, January 22, Musa left words of prayers for his followers praying that they are blessed with open doors.

The 28-year-old former Leicester City attacker has also been highly impressive with his charity works across the country.
