Since his arrival at Premier League club Manchester United in January 2020, Bruno Fernandes has become the backbone of the Red Devils as he now becomes the first player to win the Player of the month award four times in a calendar year.

However, former Tottenham and Wolves star Jamie O’Hara has stated that the Portuguese is frustrating the club manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with his poor passes.

According to O’Hara, Fernandes has raised United’s standard since he arrived in England but he has gone missing in big matches, with Roy Keane earlier claiming it is the reason the Portuguese can’t be compared with Eric Cantona.

And O’Hara says the player has a bad habit of giving the ball away too easily, a situation which has left Solskjaer frustrated. He said, as cited in Mirror:

"Bruno Fernandes gets built up massively, everyone talks about him being this brilliant player and he is – he's been fantastic for Man United.
“But in the last few weeks when I've watched him against the big clubs, Liverpool and Man City, he's been poor.
"The standard of his passing… Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did a little interview where he says Fernandes 'frustrates him', and I can actually see that because he gets in great positions sometimes but he gives the ball away for fun!"

Meanwhile, Chelsea are desperate in saving their season following their stunning 2-0 defeat to Leicester City, the club’s board are set to take a drastic decision over manager Frank Lampard.

Reports from the Stamford Bridge have it that Chelsea are desperately searching for an experienced manager following their poor run of form in the Premier League.

The loss to the Foxes is their fifth of eight matches and there are concerns over Lampard’s capacity to handle the squad.

However, Legit.ng earlier reported that Manchester City ran riot against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday, January 17, as the Citizens convincingly won the tie 4-0.

And a moment of brilliance occurred during the encounter when Gundogan struck from outside the area to get Pep Guardiola’s side’s second goal of the match.

Brazilian star Fernandinho was seen as he attempted to stop his team-mates from hugging each other, encouraging them to practice social distancing.
