Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo has been heavily criticized by the Press for his performances so far this season for Juventus most especially after the defeat against Inter.

Goals from Arturo Vidal and Nicolo Barella condemned Pirlo and his wards to a defeat against Antonio Conte and his men in a tough Serie A encounter.

Juventus have been dominating the Serie A for the past ten years thanks to their superb performances which have helped them win the League titles.

Despite winning the League title last season at Turin, Maurizio Sarri was kicked out by the club's chiefs and Pirlo was appointed as replacement.

But Pirlo has not been finding it easy this season in all the Serie A as Juventus are currently 10 points behind leaders Milan on the table.

Juventus are currently occupying fifth position on the Serie A table with 33 points after 17 games played so far this season.

According to the report on Besoccer, Cristiano Ronaldo and Pirlo were hit hard because of the defeat against Inter Milan.

Corriere dello Sport said on Ronaldo's performances:

"It's unstoppable when he is in form and a burden when like last Sunday, he switched off. He has been sub par against the big clubs recently.''

La Gazzetta dello Sport decided to focus on the coach's mistake:

"If this match had been an exam, he would have failed it. Pirlo was thrashed by Conte and he has discovered how difficult his new job is.''
