CNN said Matthew Pierce caters for the feeding of kids, from underprivileged homes who happened to be students, with his teacher's stimulus.

The teacher who teaches at the Milton Hershey School in Hershey, Pennsylvania reportedly had an humble beginning. He was said to have had his childhood in economic and low-cost homes where getting the basics necessities of life wasn't that easy.

His childhood experiences had helped shaped him into an adult that understands the importance of having one's basic needs met and this had informed his decision to use his stimulus to provide food for his students and their families.

He would use his stimulus allowance to order Uber Eats gift cards for the kids and their families.

Teacher Pierce also said that having escaped the shackles of want, he knew doing this will solve a day's worth of problem in the kids lives and that of their families who benefited from his meals generosity.

"This one is personal for me. Having been in need ... I know what would solve one day's worth of problems."

He is an ardent disciple of the school of thought that teachers should set good examples for their students.

The teacher of the Milton Hershey School, that is specialised in the provision of free education and on-campus housing for low-income kids maintained that:

"We have to model good civics. It's not something we're born with.
"We need to give back in times of need."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported how a teacher broke down in tears after parents of her student gifted her a brand new car.

Legit.ng came across the kind gesture after a woman identified as Courtney Adeleye shared the video on her Instagram. Adeleye revealed that she and her husband bought the car after they discovered that she comes to school taking public transports.
