Marcus Rashford has stated clearly that former Manchester United handler Jose Mourinho taught them the techniques to be getting penalties in the Premier League.

Manchester United are currently topping the Premier League table thanks to their superb performance this term as they are three points above Liverpool.

Ole Solskjaer and his wards have enjoyed incredible penalties this season in the Premier League which has helped Manchester United in which many of these kicks were scored by Bruno Fernandes.

According to the report on Sportsbible, Marcus Rashford who has only scored one penalty for Manchester United this season explained that Jose Mourinho actually gave them the secrets of getting penalties.

The England international added that the main target of Manchester United players is to score good goals for the side.

"As a forward line, we want to go and score goals, when you are making runs in behind or dribbling with the ball and if you see a challenge coming, you don't want to get tackled, because you are looking at an opportunity to score a goal.
"There is no way you are going to let somebody take the ball off you, so for me it is just a case of us wanting to score goals and the teams wanting to defend goals - penalties can happen.
"There have been times when we have probably not got penalties. I remember when Jose Mourinho was manager, there were five or six times where I should have had a penalty and Jose ended up saying to me: 'If you are not savvy about the way you do it, then you are not going to get it.'

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Odion Ighalo who is a Nigerian striker and currently on the books of Manchester United stated emphatically that he would love to remain at Old Trafford this term in the Premier League.

The contract of the former Watford star at Manchester United will be coming to an end in January 2021 and the Red Devils chiefs have turned their backs on extending his stay.

Years ago, Odion Ighalo used to dream of playing for Manchester United which came true in January 2020 when the Premier League side signed him as a replacement for Rashford who was injured.

Luckily for the Nigerian star, he grabbed the chance to play for Manchester United and scored great goals in the Europa League and also in the Cup games.
