Actress Jaiye Kuti advises fans to be consistent as she shares throwback video

Veteran Nollywood actress, Jaiye Kuti, recently had reason to be thankful for her hard work and consistency over the years after she sighted an old video.

Taking to her verified Instagram page, the movie star shared a short clip from an old movie she acted in so many years ago titled Bye Bye to Poverty.

In the video, she was seen playing the role of a nagging housewife to her husband who happened to be the comic actor, Mr Ibu.

In the clip, Mr Ibu’s mother tried to shield him from the threats of his wife (Jaiye Kuti) who scolded him for not being a responsible husband.

Taking to the caption of the post, the movie star said that it was a video from way back and she also used the opportunity to motivate fans.

Jaiye advised them to be consistent in what they believed in seeing as she has already made a name for herself in the movie industry.

She wrote:

“Way back... E don tey . Be consistent in what you believe in.”

In other Nollywood news, Legit.ng earlier reported that veteran comic actor, Hafiz Oyetoro aka Saka, revealed how he has been able to deal with female advances.

According to him, his roles in movies helped greatly in reducing the advances he got from women.

He explained that he usually played the roles of a gardener, gateman and houseboy and not a fine boy; hence, ladies do not give him more attention.
