The tie is scheduled for Tuesday night, January 12, at Turf Moor and it is United's game in hand.

A win for the Manchester club will see them move top on the Premier League standings with 36 points, three more than Liverpool.

However, the side may have to do that without the services of the three players, with Solskjaer divulging he will be keeping close tabs on their fitness before making a decision of they will make the Turf Moor trip.

All the three missed United's slim 1-0 win over the weekend against Watford as they booked a place in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

The general nature and severity of their injuries remain unclear, but Ole contends there is a chance they could be ready for United's Sunday, January 17, EPL cracker with Liverpool at Anfield.

"I hope so. I hope all of them for Liverpool, definitely," Solskjaer said when asked whether the trio would be available for United’s other fixture against the Reds.
"I’m not sure if they’ll make the Burnley one. It’s light training and then we’ll have to see on Monday," he added as cited by Metro UK.

Centre-back Eric Bailly is also expected to be assessed ahead of the Burnley encounter after a collision with teammate Dean Henderson over the weekend.

However, Bailly has since quelled fears on the severity of the neck injury, saying it was just a knock while reacting to his side's win over the Hornets.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that former Nigerian international Ifeanyi Udeze has lamented the treatment meted out to former Super Eagles star Odion Ighalo at English club Manchester United.

According to the former defender, Ighalo’s situation at the Premier League club is becoming an insult following the 31-year-old’s lack of playing time.

Ighalo’s who had a sensational start at the Old Trafford club scoring five goals in his first four starts has found it hard to break into the first team under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
