Chelsea flop Danny Drinkwater is set to leave the Stamford Bridge club on loan to end his nightmare at the club according to reports cited in SunSport.

It was gathered that the former Leicester City star will temporarily move to Turkish outfit Kasimpasa on loan until end of the season.

The midfielder is desperate in reigniting his fading career since he left former Premier League champions Leicester to join the Blues.

He joined the Stamford Bridge side for £35million from the Foxes in 2017 following his stunning title success with the Foxes.

He has only managed 23 appearances for Chelsea following loan spells at Burnley and Aston Villa with just six appearances between both clubs.

In fact, Drinkwater was chased out of Aston Villa following a burst up with Diogo Jota as he head-butted his team-mate on the club’s training ground.

His problems persisted off the field after being charged with drink-driving in April 2019 and was battered by six thugs outside a nightclub just months after.

Just last month he was sent off in an Under-23 game for kicking out at Tottenham youngster Alfie Devine.

Elsewhere, Liverpool goal poacher Mohamed Salah has emerged as a top transfer target for Spanish League defending champions Real Madrid this month.

The Egyptian forward has been in top form for the Reds since he joined them from Roma in the summer of 2017.

His exploits have seen him win back-to-back EPL golden boots among several other individual and collective silverware.

Despite his deep form this campaign, Los Blancos are back on his trail having shown interest in the 28-year-old previously.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that French club PSG have reportedly named five players that are up for sale as new manager Mauricio Pochettino is desperate in raising cash to do business in the transfer window.

Among stars to leave the club anytime soon include former Manchester United player Ander Herrera who joined in 2019. The 31-year-old midfielder has scored just two goals so far for the club in as much as 42 appearances.

It was gathered that Julian Draxler, Leandro Peredes, Thilo Kehrer and Idrissa Gueye are other players to leave the Parisians.
