Juventus manager Olivier Giroud has hinted that the Old Lady could be launching a bid for 34-year-old Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.

The manager was recently asked if the club is considering a possible move for any player in the English Premier League and he hinted about the Chelsea forward.

Pirlo saw his side defeat Udinese 4-1 in the Serie A on Sunday night, January 3, with goal-machine Cristiano Ronaldo getting a brace.

The Bianconeri who have a game in hand are currently ten points behind league leaders AC Milan and they are expected to do some business during the January transfer window.

Pirlo told DAZN via AS:

"Giroud? We could use him. But these are things that (Juventus sporting director Fabio) Paratici knows better than me.
"We talked about it, but let's see if we will do something in the next few days."

Juve travel to Milan on Wednesday and will hope to cut their gap on the unbeaten Rossoneri.

However, on the other hand, Juventus might allow Paulo Dybala to leave if he further delays in signing a new contract in the coming days.

The Argentine's current deal with the Old Lady expires in the summer of 2022 and all efforts to get him to extend have failed.

Though the Turin-based club has offered him an improved deal valued around £6.2 million-a-year, yet, the midfielder seems unsatisfied.

And the Italian League champions have decided to end their relationship with the player should the problem persist.

It was gathered that Juve tempted Dybala with a sumptuous deal two years ago but he turned it down owing to the uncertainty of his future at the club.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Chelsea are enduring one of the club's worst starts to a Premier League season following their 3-1 defeat to Man City on Sunday evening, January 3.

The Blues were looking to return to winning ways after going winless in three of their recent matches when they took on City at Stamford Bridge.

The loss was the west Londoners' fourth in six league matches, picking up just a point in their meeting against West Ham United.

It was enough to see Frank Lampard's men slip to eighth on the standings with 26 points in 17 games, winning just seven of those.
