Paul Pogba was seen in a footage instructing team-mate Luke Shaw he should have attempted to dive to win a penalty during Manchester United’s 2-1 win over Aston Villa.

UK outlet Daily Star claims Pogba could land in big problem after he was seen encouraging cheating in the tough Premier League fixture.

The Red Devils went level on points with Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table following their victory Old Trafford on New Year’s Day.

Adama Traore canceled out Anthony Martial's goal as Bruno Fernandes scored the match-winner from the penalty spot.

Pogba was outstanding during the encounter and shortly after Villa’s leveller, though, the Frenchman was awarded a penalty after a small trip from Douglas Luiz in the box.

However a moment came during the encounter when Luke Shaw dashed into the visitor’s penalty area.

The player managed to evade Matty Cash but lost control of the ball as it was gathered by goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez which frustrated Pogba.

The Frenchman then gestures to him with his arm to go down and flop to the deck, despite Cash’s effort to win the ball being fair.

Shaw made little of Pogba’s plea, heading back into position afterwards, but the incident certainly does not paint the United midfielder in a good light.

Meanwhile, Edinson Cavani missed the cracker after the Uruguayan was handed a three-match for an insensitive post. He has disclosed that he is alien to English language customs.
