Cross-over night services are yearly Christian gatherings conducted by churches from December 31 to January 1.

Many worshipers use the event to thank God for preserving their lives throughout the year and dedicate the New Year to their maker.

However, due to the 12am to 4am curfew imposed by the federal government following the COVID-19 pandemic, churches have been making adjustments to comply with the government's rule.

Meanwhile, an emerging report indicates that the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners’ Chapel, has cancelled its 2020/2021 cross-over night service.

Winners’ Chapel’s cross-over night service holds yearly from December 31 to January 1, within the hours of 10pm and 4am.

But this year’s event has reportedly been cancelled by the church, likely due to the COVID-19 pandemic, PM News reported.
